Camille, a librarian, spies Abel at a restaurant ; following him, she discovers he is a psychiatrist. As her marriage is collapsing, she begins therapy with Abel, and her sessions revolve around relationships with the men in her life: father, husband, lovers, grandfather, boss, and the therapist himself.
